Domestic cat

Today I write a acrostic poem about a cats it was really fun because I got to be really creative. A  acrostic poem is a poem where write a word vertical then you write sentences that start with the same letter here is my poem.

D ogs are dirty cats are clean.

O verall dogs are better than cats.

M eowing all day is so annoying to listen too.

E yes that can see in the dark.

S ome cats have spots and some cats have stripes.

T igger looks skinnier than normal tigers.

I mportant dogs, don’t worry about the cats.

C ute dogs ugly cats.

C ats play minecraft, dogs play fortnite, fortnite better.

A lmost all cats are lazy and dogs are playful.

T here are is three hundred million more dogs in the world cats

Today the mayor of Gisborne (Meng Foon) came into our class and he talk to us about our activities for action speak louder than words it was a rainy day and we were going go to the hamanatua stream to tell what we've done but it was canceled so he came down to our class and talked. This week in Rm1 we did a slow write about our holiday and my slow write was about me going to the BMX track.


Not Again!

"Woohoo" 

I was so excited to go to the BMX track.

Finally we were there and I wrapped my hands around the handle bars.

I got ready for awesomeness.

Gently I pushed myself down the steep hill. What happens if I crash?

Although it wasn’t that common for my bike to slip out on this track, it's still dangerous.

Then I zoomed down the rouff, steep ,slippery gravel then I went up and down then up and down.

Why is it that my feet always slip on the metal pedals when I’m getting air?

Then suddenly right before I hit the ground I felt the metal pedal scrape down my shin, but I still had to get to the end. When I got to the end I looked down at my leg and it was covered in blood, I ran my finger down the cut and there was a big crater. owww!
