Shared book

Because of Winn-Dixie

This term our shared book is called Because of Winn-Dixie. It's about a dog and a girl called India Opal, the girl didn't have a Mum, they just moved to a new town and her nickname was Opal. Her Dad told Opal to go get some food from the Winn-Dixie supermarket and there was a dog in there and she said " it's mine ". From then it was her dog and she took care of Winn-Dixie. Opal has lots of friends and most of them are old people.

 This book is a good book because it has lots of new words, and there big ones as well. This book is really fun to read because it's funny and it's just awesome.

    Shared reading is awesome, especially when you really enjoy the book. It sounds like a fun book with a lot of exciting adventures. Can you imagine some of the adventures, but with you and Bella instead?
