Matai's Interesting Intro

This week, our class are doing tuhi mai tuhi atu with a class in Blaketown school in room 4, Blaketown is in the the south island. Tuhi mai tuhi atu mean I write to you and you write to me. This is my drawing that was for Blaketown school it's a intro for them.

Holiday Slow Write

This week in Rm1 we did a slow write about our holiday and my slow write was about me going to the BMX track.


Not Again!

"Woohoo" 
I was so excited to go to the BMX track.
Finally we were there and I wrapped my hands around the handle bars.
I got ready for awesomeness.
Gently I pushed myself down the steep hill. What happens if I crash?
Although it wasn’t that common for my bike to slip out on this track, it's still dangerous.
Then I zoomed down the rouff, steep ,slippery gravel then I went up and down then up and down.
Why is it that my feet always slip on the metal pedals when I’m getting air?
Then suddenly right before I hit the ground I felt the metal pedal scrape down my shin, but I still had to get to the end. When I got to the end I looked down at my leg and it was covered in blood, I ran my finger down the cut and there was a big crater. owww!

Matais 3 stars and a wish

Yesterday we had to do a learning reflection. Then we had to make a google drawings about three things that we achieved a in term two and a wish that we were going to focus on next term. so here it is!

Me Recipe

Today and yesterday at school we had to write a recipe about what i'm doing at school and it's really fun. Here it is.


Recipe for Matai Marshmallows...


Warning this recipe might not work!
Aim
Make a marshmallow out of where i'm at in my learning


Ingredients:
3 teaspoons of respect
1 cup of responsibility
2 cups of focus
1 and a half cup of self management
3 quarters of a cup of good choice
2 teaspoon of awesomeness
4 cups of friendship
20 dessert spoons of confidence
And half a cup of fun!


Tools:
1 big plate
1 big wooden spoon
1 oven
And an awesome attitude.


Method


First turn on your oven to 150°.
Second slop all the ingredients into the big plate.
Then shape the ingredients into lots of balls.
Next put the plate with all the balls on it, in the oven for 1 hour.
After that pull them out of the oven and your done!
Dish them out on a plate and enjoy.

LI: I am sharing some of my ideas, feelings and thoughts on my blog about the
     Duathlon  today!

Success Criteria:
  • It makes sense when I read it
  • I have used capital letters and full stops correctly
  • I have had my blogging buddy check my blog before I publish it

  • I felt really tired and exhausted.
  • My throat got dried up so much that I could hardly breath.
  • I felt really proud of my self after the race.
  • I had so much butterflies in my tummy that I used most of my energy up at that start.
  • I almost fell of my bike on the first lap.
Before the duathlon I had heaps and heaps of butterflies in tummy it made me lose some of my energy. Now I feel really proud of my self because I came like fifth or around there.  

Bike Saftey

a couple of weeks ago Constable Pam the police ladie came in and showed us some stuff about bike saftey then our teacher told us to make a little video about bike saftey.
